Matt Leinhart News

After having a miserable preseason thus far, Matt Leinhart of the Arizona Cardinals is a little more than disgruntled with the Arizona Cardinals. Arizona Cardinals head coach, Ken Whisenhunt, has decided to start Derek Anderson as the Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback for the second preseason game in a row.

This will be the Cardinals last preseason game before the NFL regular season kicks off, and with Anderson starting, this is a very good indicator that Leinhart will not be Kurt Warner’s replacement this season as many previously speculated.

Matt Leinhart Trade

Inside NFL sources are reporting that the Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders have expressed trading for Matt Leinhart. Currently Matt Leinhart is making $2.485 million this year, and is schedule to make $7.36 million next season. With just a high pay increase next year, it is unlikely that the Bills and Raiders will want to give up a lot in trade for Matt Leinhart who blames his bad performance on his coach, not himself.
Currently the Arizona Cardinals are favored by -5.5 points against the Washington Redskins as found at the Sports Interaction online sportsbook.
