Brett Favre Unretires

The moment we were all waiting for this offseason came and went in a matter of 5 minutes, 2 unfunny jokes, and several loud groans. Brett Favre held a press conference today and announced that he will play 1 last NFL season with the Minnesota Vikings. Far off in the distance you could hear a loud groan coming out of Tarvaris Jackson’s locker. Favre says that his reason for returning was because he felt that he owed it to the Minnesota Vikings to give it another shot. When asked if he wanted to win the Super Bowl this season so that he could retire on top, Favre replied with, “No.”

For another year the Minnesota Vikings will be referred to as Brett Favre’s team, not Tarvaris Jackson’s. Favre said he was already on top when he left the Packers, he was on top when he was with the Jets, and he was on top last season with the Vikings so he does not need to win the Super Bowl this season, his last, before he can say he retired “on top”.
