Dez Bryant Refuses Rookie Initiation

NFL experts are saying that Dez Bryant will be the best rookie in the upcoming NFL season; however he is already starting to get on my nerves.

It is tradition amongst NFL rookies to carry the pads of veteran players after practice; however when Roy Williams asked Dez Bryant to carry his pads after yesterday’s Cowboys practice, Bryant said “No”. I might have been more understanding if Bryant said, “no thank you”, but he plain out said “No”.

Dallas Cowboys Betting Predictions

Although Dez Bryant has some growing up to do, I think the Dallas Cowboys will be just fine this upcoming NFL betting season. NFL Possibly Moving to an 18 Game Schedule

I couldn’t find any pictures to represent the new proposed NFL 18 schedule, so instead I figured I would treat you guys to a picture of the Miami Dolphins’ cheerleaders. I guess you could say that if the new 18 game schedule is approved by the NFL, you will get to see a lot more of NFL cheerleaders, which also means they will be working less at strip clubs.

For the last couple of months there has been a big debate going on between NFL owners, players, news reporters, critics and fans about the proposed 18 game NFL season, but everybody might as well save their breath because it is going to happen 100%.

I for one welcome the extended season proposal which means that pre-season games will turn into regular season games that actually mean something and will be worth watching. Everybody knows that betting on the NFL pre-season is so unpredictable and only moneyline betting odds are safe bets to make during pre-season games. Contrary to what you might be thinking after looking at the above picture, Brett Favre is not holding a father & son football camp. Those scrawny kids behind him are not his children, but they in fact play for the Oak Grove High School junior high football team in Hattiesburg, MS. Because Favre is so good, he feels that he does not need to practice against grown men anymore, and instead toys around with little children, Roman Polanski style.

Earlier this week the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, Brad Childress, flew down to Hattiesburg and had a meeting with Brett Favre about Favre’s return to the NFL. Rumors are speculating that Brett Favre will not return to the NFL this upcoming season, and that Tarvaris Jackson will be leading the Minnesota Vikings offence. Right now you have to assume that current online sportsbooks have posted Minnesota Vikings betting odds on the assumption that Brett Favre will return. Last year at this time before the start of the 2009-10 NFL season, Emmitt Smith was not only dancing with the stars, but he was giving away free NFL predictions as well. When asked what his NFL predictions would be for the Dallas Cowboys. Emmitt Smith predicted that the Dallas Cowboys would go 7-6 and miss the playoffs last season, which obviously did not happen. Last year’s NFL predictions by Emmitt Smith pissed off a lot of current players on the Dallas Cowboys roster who proved him wrong and made the playoffs, but they still did not make it far.

Although it sounds like Emmitt Smith is now trying to suck up to the Dallas Cowboys, he may be right in that they are predicted to have a great season. Although Owens blames his contract disputes on NFL owners thinking he is a bad apple, inside rumors speculate that Owens is unsigned because he had a horrible season last year with only 5 touchdowns and that he is asking for way too much money. My NFL prediction for Terrell Owens is that no playoff bound team is going to sign him before the start of the season and that he needs to stick to his reality TV show from now on to make his living.

Golden Boy Tom Brady News

At one point Tom Brady was being heralded as the best NFL quarterback currently and potential all-time best NFL quarterback, but with one freak injury suffered at the start of the NFL season last year that cost him the whole season, many have forgotten about Brady.

Tom Brady Contract Dispute

One group of people who have not forgotten about Tom Brady include his agent and the New England Patriots organization who are in the processing of offering Tom Brady a contract extension as Brady is in the last year of his contract. Although previously Brady had accepted a discount in his last contract because he wanted the team to stay together, now rumors are being speculated he is going after the highest bid. Further to that, NFL insiders are also suggesting that Tom Brady may be a hold out if the Patriots cannot sign him before the start of the NFL season.
