Terrell Owens Is Sad Again

In a new looking NFL where sweetheart players like Ben Roethlisberger are getting charged for off-field conduct; Terrell Owens is saying that he should be the new NFL picture boy because he has never been fined for off-field conduct.

Terrell Owens is currently a boy without a home as the Buffalo Bills only signed him to a 1-year contract last season. Owens is currently meeting with other NFL teams however he feels that nobody is signing him because all the NFL owners think he is trouble.

NFL Season Predictions

Although Owens blames his contract disputes on NFL owners thinking he is a bad apple, inside rumors speculate that Owens is unsigned because he had a horrible season last year with only 5 touchdowns and that he is asking for way too much money. My NFL prediction for Terrell Owens is that no playoff bound team is going to sign him before the start of the season and that he needs to stick to his reality TV show from now on to make his living.

Detroit Lions’ President in Hot Water

In the above picture Detroit Lion’s President, Tom Lewand, may have just looked drunk, but a week ago when he was caught driving his car under the influence, he was more than just looking drunk and blew well over the legal limit.

I guess you would be drinking that much too if you were in charge of the struggling NFL Detroit Lions franchise.

Detroit Lions Online Betting Picks

Although the Detroit Lions only won 2 NFL regular season games last NFL season, this upcoming NFL season they have made major improvements to their defensive roster in signing Louis Delmas and Kyle Vanden Bosch who have built their reputation on having a strong work ethic and great leadership skills.

Currently some of the best online sportsbooks have the Detroit Lions at +10000 betting odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl which doesn’t sound too promising if you bet on the Lions. This means if you bet $100 on the Detroit Lions to win the NFL Super Bowl, you will make $10,000. You can bet online for the 2011 Super Bowl at the Bodog online sportsbook today!

Peyton Manning’s NFL Future

How long will Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts be able to hold off their opponents in the NFL this upcoming season after putting together multiple winning seasons? Many experts believe that Colts have peaked and this may be the year that you start to notice.

Peyton Manning is a 4 time MVP and has won the Super Bowl once, but in recent memory he has only been able to get close to the promise land, but has not been able to win entry into it.

Upcoming NFL Betting Predictions

With only minimal changes in the Colts organization since last NFL season, and Peyton Manning escaping last NFL season relatively unscathed, Colts betting odds on repeating another winning season look very promising to me. Currently the Bodog online sportsbook has the Colts favored 13:2 to win the 2011 Super Bowl which I think is a great online bet to make. If you have a few extra bucks, I would bet $50 online that the Colts are going to win the Super Bowl and at $13 for every $2 I bet, I would win $325.00 plus get my risk amount of $50 back. Those are some great betting odds if you ask me!

Tebow Readies for Upcoming NFL Season

Yes, here comes another post about soon to be rookie sensation, Tim Tebow. It’s not that I have a man crush on this beast of a man; it’s just that his blue collar attitude and unprecedented work ethic has won the respect of his Bronco teammates and NFL fans alike.

Although Tim Tebow has yet to play an NFL game and is currently the 3rd quarterback on the Denver Broncos behind Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn, he is getting a lot of attention from the media and from players around the NFL.

NFL Picks and Predictions

Many NFL football experts are predicting that Tim Tebow will take over the starting position for the Denver Broncos, forcing the Broncos to trade either Orton or Quinn.
Champ Bailey, the Broncos Defensive Captain is extremely impressed by Tebow’s work ethic and has full confidence in his rookie NFL quarterback quoting, “He routinely leads the team in practice sprints and he is always the last one off the field after practices. He works just as hard on the field as he does in the classroom learning our playbook.”

It’s rare in the NFL where a teammate is actually praising their quarterback, instead of blaming him. The NFL season has yet to start, but I would bet on the Broncos to put up a few more wins this NFL season than last season.

Brian Westbook's Triumphant Return

Is Brian Westbrook possibly coming out of retirement and spending too much time with Brett Favre? The 30 year old running back left the Philadelphia Eagles two years ago because of a knee injury and reoccurring concussion problems. However the latest buzz on the green is that if Westbrook does make his return to the NFL, it will not be with the Eagles.

Recent rumors have been confirmed that the Denver Broncos are in talks with Brian Westbrook in regards to him returning to NFL football as a role player. Don’t expect Westbrook to be the NFL scoring touchdown leader this upcoming season, or for him to even get more than one touchdown, his role will be purely as a spiritual advisor/player for their younger running backs.

Denver Broncos Backfield

With a wily veteran like Brian Westbrook on the sidelines, the Denver Broncos young running backs will have a great learning experience. With the likes of J.J. Arrington and Knowshon Moreno, look for the Denver Broncos to have a tough running game for this upcoming NFL football season. I doubt that the Broncos will make any serious run at the Super Bowl, but I would also strongly suggest betting on them against teams that have a tough time defending the rush. Mike Shanahan is out in Denver, but they are still led by a group of experienced coaches and ownership so don’t be afraid to bet online for the Broncos.
